Terms of service
These terms apply to KittyHome: this website, the Grid community, the daily puzzle and the KittyHome Chrome extension. By using KittyHome you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

1. What KittyHome is
KittyHome is a free community for students and developers. You can explore a 3D world as a cat, meet professionals, chat with AI mentor cats, solve a daily coding puzzle, play games and events, and use a Chrome extension that helps you write, with your cat as its mascot. Some features change over time; we may add, change or remove them.
2. Your account
- You sign in with Google, GitHub, or a code we email you. You must be at least 13 years old.
- Keep your Google or GitHub account secure: whoever can use it can use your KittyHome account.
- You can stop using KittyHome at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@kittyhome.org.
3. Community rules
Be kind: KittyHome is for learning and fun. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone, or share someone's private information.
- Post or send sexual content, including any sexual or intimate imagery of real people, and never AI-generated or edited intimate imagery of anyone without their consent.
- Post hateful, violent or illegal content, spam, scams or malware.
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, or try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours.
- Use KittyHome's AI features to create harmful, deceptive or sexual content.
Admins may remove messages, mute, remove or suspend accounts that break these rules. If you see something wrong, use "Contact support" or email hello@kittyhome.org.
4. AI features
KittyHome's AI features write text only: mentor chats, jokes, reply ideas and the writing helper in the Chrome extension. They do not create images. AI answers can be wrong; please double-check anything important. We never use the information we receive from Google or GitHub sign-in to train AI models.
5. Points, coins and items
Points and coins are earned by playing and can be spent on in-game items and games. Coins can also be bought with cryptocurrency through our payment provider, CryptumPay, at the price shown in the shop (currently 1,000 coins for $1). Points and coins have no cash value, can't be sold or exchanged for money, and aren't your property. We may adjust balances to fix mistakes or abuse.
Purchases are final. Coins are added once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain. Because they're digital items delivered right away, purchases can't be refunded, except where the law says otherwise or if we make a mistake (for example, you paid but didn't get your coins: write to hello@kittyhome.org and we'll fix it). Network fees charged by your wallet or exchange are yours to pay.
6. Your content
You keep the rights to what you post. You let us store and show it to run KittyHome (for example, your broadcasts to other players). Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
7. No guarantees
KittyHome is provided as it is, for free. We work to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses from using it.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top when we do. Questions? Email hello@kittyhome.org.
